Roopalal said

Shri Krishna, the Lord of all rasikas can not be propitiated with yogic power, life as a sanyasi or luxurious religious rites. He gets pleased with pious devotion alone. What benefit do such great men who swim in the joyous ocean of devotion to Lord Hari, have out of fame, wealth, siddhi or salvation? If devotion to Lord Hari sprouts in the hearts of the frail and mortal men, that is the only gain they can think of.

When Roopalal made these remarks the yogi of sever penance threw away that coconut and surrendered to Him. With hands folded in respect, he pleaded Roopalal to bestow upon him Krishna bhakti which is inaccessible even to the devas like Brahma. Roopala Goswami made a silent invocation to Shri Krishna, the consort of Devi Radha. Then he pacified that yogi and started uttering the following sweet words.

I am not after establishing any math or gurupitha or gaining fame. I long to continue always in the service of Shri Radhavallabha. If you have the power to bestow devotion to Krishna upon me you can stay here. Otherwise, please quit this Brindavan. Even a dog dwelling in this Brindavan fully charges with Krishna prem will not respect you. Shri Krishna who stands far away from yogis like you, dwells in the simple huts of poor men like me.

The varied species are born on this earth again and again as a result of multifarious deeds, if once as mosquitoes, at another as elephants. Sometimes they are born as birds and fly high in the sky. Sometimes they take birth as fish and live in the water. Thus in multitudes of births many yogic powers have been acquired and experienced. But devotion to Shri Krishna has never been acquired. What benefit do I, a dejected saint derive from such yogic accomplishments that excite the laymen alone.

Though Roopalal was a householder he was very virtous and had subdued all his senses. Inspite of his natural liking for a withdrawn attitude he was noted among those who revel in prema bhava. Unaware of his glory a yogi with the strength of penance offered him a coconut and spoke as follows.

He was always meditating upon Shri Krishna who exhibits elegant and delightful divine pastimes. Thus he was engaged in unending service in the nikunja. The vaishnava was immersed in the ocean of the nectar of divine pastimes exhibited by Shri Krishna, the Rasikendra and was totally unconcerned about the worldly life. That wise man was dwelling on the bank of Govindakundam near Govardhana and was engaged in singing the glories of Shri Krishna

The deceive the laymen showing their magic power. Soon they get destroyed and fall down due to their jealous longing for wealth and women. But those noble personalities incessantly engaged in Krishna Kirtan develop rectitude and seek solitary life. The selfless sadhus provide happiness to noble men through their virtuous life and instill in them devotion to Lord Hari.

In the meantime Shyamadasa came to Shri Brindavan in search of the child. Seeing him thus he became immensely happy. He who reads or listens to the story of Dhruvadasa is the only fortunate man in this world. Only he becomes blessed with the mercy of Shri krishna the consort of Devi Radha.

Thus ends Chapter Seven entitled 'Dhruvadasa Charitam' of Book VI of Shri Vaishnava Samhita composed by Shri Shri Krishna Premi Swamigal.

Dhruvadasa was astounded. Immediately he came to Gopinatha and wept standing in front of him with folded hands. That extraordinary guru knew everything that had happened due to the grace of Devi Radha. He took the child in his hands and consoled him. Dhuruvadasa who was endowed with divine knowledge resided  there itself, perenially engaged in the kirtan of Shri Krishna, the spouse of Devi Radha.
