Having listened to these words of Lord KrishnaMalini woke up in the morning. She experienced untold bliss. Early in the morning she went to the temple along with her husband. She looked for the hole in Shri Krishna's nose. Seeing a hole there, She became extremely happy and applied the golden nose ring on the nose of the loving son of Devaki. Beholding Lord Sripati thus adorned with a nose ring all the vaishnavas attained great joy.

As there was no hole in the nose of Lord Gopala, He could not be adorned with a nose ring. This made the queen very sad. She wanted to see the Lord adorned with that jewel. She was dissapointed when it did not materialise. Lord Krishna, the patron of the bhaktas, appeared in her dream and spoke as follows.

Shri Bhagavan spoke

Oh, dear Mother! Do not feel sad. ome to the temple in the morning and offer your nose ring to Me. You can find a hoe in My nose with the help of the priests. The nose ring can be applied there.

The truthful and righteous king defeated the ruler of Vidhyanagar and thus proved his might. The ruler of Vidhyanagar was ashamed of himself and gave his daughter Malini in marriage to Purushottamadasa. Purushottamadasa beheld Lord SakshiGopala dwelling at Vidhyanagar and pleaded with Him to fo over to his kingdom. There was a king named Purushottamadasa in the Utkala province (Orissa). He was very brave, courageous and deeply rooted in righteousness. The king was powerful like the sun, pleasing like the moon, uncontrolled like agni and strong like vayu. He was majestic like the sea and firm like the Himalayas. He was as generous as Karna and as rich as Kubera. He resembled Dharmaputra in his patience. Lord Rama in protecting the helpless and Ambarisha in his unbounded devotion to Lord Vishnu

When He was told so, Bhagavan Shri Krishna set out for Vidhyanagar along wih the devotee, Brahmachari to give witness to his truthfulness. Kalyana Brahmachari could go on listening to the tinkling of the anklets of Shri Bhagavan. That sound reassured him that Shri Bhagavan was going along with him. Reaching the outskirts of the village, the tinkling stopped. Now the devotee looked back. Bhagavan stood there in the aecha form. Brahmachari showed the Eternal Witness, Shri Bhagavan to all. All People were greatly surprised to see Shri Bhagavan there. In the village assembly Shri Bhagavan proved that Brahmachari was speaking the truth. Listening to that all became happy. Later, with the conset of the relatives, the old man gave his beautifully adorned daughter to Kalyana Brahmachari. Lord Sakshi Gopala (Gopala, the Witness) swelt in the temple built by the devotees at Vidyanagar. Brahmachari was engaged in His daily pooja.

Saviour of the surrendered souls! I an orpahn am surrendering unto You. Oh! Lord! Repository of compassion! I am Your truthful devotee. People abuse me as a liar. You made the words of Prahlada and Bheeshma come true. Now, You must come with me and prove the truth of my words.

In order to make the old man a strict adherent to truth the truthful Brahmachari reminded him of the promise he had made. The relatives of the old man abused Brahmachari saying that he was uttering a lie. So he became very sad. The old man remained silent as he was not willing to earn the displeasure of his relatives. The village assembly ruled that the truthful Brahmachari should quit the village. When the assembly questioned him of the truth behind his statement, Brahmachari said that Lord Krishna was the witness. Then he left for Shri Brindavan to bring Shri Krishna to that village. The honest and noble Brahmachari took refuge in Shri Achyuta, the In-dwelling witness, with unshakeable faith.
