Once she was bathing in the holy Yamuna a mleccha approached her induced by lust. That wicked man wanted to get Karmathabai , to his own disaster as Ravana wanted to get Devi Janaki. That lustful man made sure that there was none around there in Shri Brindavan and approached Karmathabai and threatened her. The frightened woman Karmathabai, ran here and there in Shri Brindavan. That wretched man also followed in order to catch hold of her. At last she fell into his hand. Karmathabai cried bitterly like Paanchali in the hands of Dusshasana in the royal Court of Duryodhana.
