श्रीसद्गुरुरुवाच
इत्युक्त्वा देवकीपुत्रः सूरदासस्य पश्यतः |
तत्रैवान्तरधाद्देवः क्षणात् सौदामिनी यथा ||
सूरदासो महात्मा च कृष्णकीर्तनतत्परः |
चचार यमुनातीरे वल्लभाचार्यलालितः ||
Shri Sadguru continued
Having spoken thus, Shri Krishna, the dear child of Devaki, vanished in a second like lightning even when Shri Surdas was looking on. Affectionately looked after by Shri Vallabha, Surdas led a happy life on the back of the Yamuna, having Krishna kirtan as the only object of his life.
