The five year old boy Narashimha Mehta was very intelligent and had great respect for his elder brother. His parents had died even when he was a child and so he was brought up by his elder brother. He was adorned with all noble qualities. He was so graceful that he could captivate all hearts. He was wise and brave and was a true devotee of Shri Krishna.

The ears of that man who does not give audience with true devotion to the narration of the sacred story of Shri Bhagavan, the Punyashloka, which is capable of eradicating all evils, are comparable to snake-hills.

There was a great bhakta named Narasimha Mehta. Now I am going to narrate his story that blesses the listener with devotion to Shri Krishna.

Then, Meera embraced Lord Krishna and disappeared instantaneously. All those noble men accompanying her could see only a divine light appear there. All the vaishnavas spoke high of Meera. They had the darshan of Shri Krishna. With a pleasant surprise they hailed Meera. One who reads or listens to the pious life story of Meera attains unalloyed loving devotion to Lord Shri Krishna.

Shri Krishna gave darshan as follows; He was bluish in complexion like the Neelotpala flower; His eyes resembled the lotus. The Lord has beautiful cheeks, handsome and attractive nose and an elegant smile. He was wearing a glittering gem-studded crown with a peacock feather. He had the Insignia of Shri decorating His broad chest. He was wearing the koustubha gem round His neck and a gorgeous yellow silk garment. He was annointed with fragrant sandal paste. He was adorned witha flower garland, necklace, bangles, shoulder-bands, and tinklink anklets in His lotus feet. Thus beholding the Lord of her soul, Meera rushed into the temple in order to embrace Him.

One day the bank of the Yamuna was embraced by a gentle breeze. That holy place filled with prem was replete with many trees. Parrots were uttering sweetly the Divine Name "Radheshyam." The sands, held in great esteem by the sadus were bearing the beautiful foot prints of Lord Shri Krishna. Flowers falling from the myriad trees lay scattered on the soft sands of the river bank. Devi Radha's cute foot prints were also found there. In that Brindavan Meera the vaishnavi was seted under a tree. She was playing on the Veene and singing melodiously.

How can Gopi prem become easily attainable to those people who roll in the samsara for the sake of sense pleasures alone ? Brahma, Rudra, Bhishma, Uddhava, Shuka, Shri Lakshmi Devi and the like praise Gopi prem. But they too have not experienced the luscious essence of it fully. Even attaining salvation or reaching the vaikuntha or getting the post of Brahma is easy. But the fortune of residing in Shri Brindavan is very difficult to gain. Experiencing Gopi prem is still more difficult. From among innumerable creatures Gopi prem is found glowing in the heart of a single noble being alone due to boundless mercy of Shri Krishna. The true devotee who has realized the essence of bhakti attracts Shri Govinda, the greatest resika, through Gopi prem and revels in the midst of Gopis in Raasa along with Shri Krishna.
