Please see. I am wandering about this dreadful forest endlessly. Please shower mercy on me and save me. I do not have any of the qualifications of expertise in yoga, wisdom, adherence to strict austerities and penance. I am totally ignorant. I take refuge in You

His brother's wife who could not study his heart drove him away from the house. Thus driven from home by his sister-in-law the young boy went on crying and at night reached a forest inhabited by wild animals.

The five year old boy Narashimha Mehta was very intelligent and had great respect for his elder brother. His parents had died even when he was a child and so he was brought up by his elder brother. He was adorned with all noble qualities. He was so graceful that he could captivate all hearts. He was wise and brave and was a true devotee of Shri Krishna.

The ears of that man who does not give audience with true devotion to the narration of the sacred story of Shri Bhagavan, the Punyashloka, which is capable of eradicating all evils, are comparable to snake-hills.

Shri Sadguru said

There was a great bhakta named Narasimha Mehta. Now I am going to narrate his story that blesses the listener with devotion to Shri Krishna.

Then, Meera embraced Lord Krishna and disappeared instantaneously. All those noble men accompanying her could see only a divine light appear there. All the vaishnavas spoke high of Meera. They had the darshan of Shri Krishna. With a pleasant surprise they hailed Meera. One who reads or listens to the pious life story of Meera attains unalloyed loving devotion to Lord Shri Krishna.

Shri Krishna gave darshan as follows; He was bluish in complexion like the Neelotpala flower; His eyes resembled the lotus. The Lord has beautiful cheeks, handsome and attractive nose and an elegant smile. He was wearing a glittering gem-studded crown with a peacock feather. He had the Insignia of Shri decorating His broad chest. He was wearing the koustubha gem round His neck and a gorgeous yellow silk garment. He was annointed with fragrant sandal paste. He was adorned witha flower garland, necklace, bangles, shoulder-bands, and tinklink anklets in His lotus feet. Thus beholding the Lord of her soul, Meera rushed into the temple in order to embrace Him.

When Meera sang thus, Bhagavan, Shri Krishna caused the doors open and gave darshan with all mercy.

Heh! Purushottama! You are my father, mother, preceptor and deity. I do not find a savior other than You. Wandering in this dreaded desert of worldly life I have undergone many privations. Now I have come to take shelter at the cool shade of your lotus feet. Keshava! Please put an end to Your game of testing me. Please look askance at me. Oh! Ocean of compassion! Give me refuge at your lotus feet.
