The child Nandakumara appeared to her as follows. His body had the bluish complexion of the neelotpala flower, the baby looked more handsome as He was unclad; His eyes were blackened and beautiful with Khajal; He had a smiling and hance more charming countenance; He was wearing innumerable ornaments like the Makara Kundalas (the shark-shaped ear-rings), tiger-claws, a noslet noserings; tinkling anklets and a stone studded girdle. She saw the ocean of compassion, Shri Damodhara, the head of all the devas and the child of Gukulam thus. The princess saw in front of her, Devi Yashoda, the wife of Shri Nandagopa and the divine mother of Shrinatha. She saw there Devi Yashoda, who always keeps her child in her lap and entertains Him with a number of toys and dolls, who fondles the child with great affection, who has a bright and beautiful countenance, who has attractive lotus eyes, who converses happily with her son, whose bosom is filled with unbound love for the child, and who is wearing glittering jewels and silky garments. The princess was greatly delighted to se mother Yashoda and was surprised not to find Shri Hariraya there. The maiden realised Hariraya's greatness. She was stricken with shame and hence she prostrated herself at his feet.

One day, that girl decorated herself very beautifully and reached a place stealthily to meet the steady-minded Hariraya. Hariraya learnt her secret intentions due to the unbound mercy of Lord Krishna. The blemishless man became very sad and agitated. That great bhakta gained the emotional state of mother Yashoda immediately started meditating upon Lord Shrinatha so that both the girl and himself would be safeguarded. As the same moment that girl saw the young Nandakumara dancing joyfully on the lap of Shri Hariraya. She was greatly surprised.

Oh, My mother! The path is muddy, and there is no carpet today. How can I go to the Shayana Gruha? Having listened to these words, Hariraya went to the Shri Krishna temple at once. Spreading the expensive carpet on the path, he took Shrinatha to the Shayana Gruha with great affection. He made Him lie on the soft bed with pillows and sand melodiously. Shrinatha had a very comfortable sleep.

Seeing Shrinatha there, Hariraya asked him, "My child! Why are you here? Why didn't you go to sleep?" Shri Krishna, the beloved son of Yashoda threw His hands round Hariraya's neck and spoke softly

Shri Sadguru said

A great devotee of Lord Krishna and a man of profound wisdom, named Hariraya was born in the noble family of mahatma, Shri Vallabha. He was a very great bhagavatottama adorned with many noble qualities. He was a great guru bhakta. He had Krishna dhyana as the only object f life. He was doing Bhagavata Saptaham (finishing the recital of the whole of Shrimad Bhagavatam in a week's time) regularly. He was serving Shrinatha with great devotion. He had an ardent interest in Krishna kirtan.

All this time, Vhathurbhuja, who greatly respected his guru, was also running after him here and there. Finally he got exhausted and fell down at a distance away from the hill. Vitthalanatha had the darshan of the bluish black-hued Muralidhara face to face. Instantaneously he vansihed then and there. When Chatthurbhuja regained consciousness, he was totally upset not to find Vitthalanatha anywhere. He reached the Gokulam with great sorrow. The unwavering, firm bhaktas submit themselves and surrender their hearts and souls too to Lord Shrinatha as His mercy is so great that it cannot be reciprocated in any other simpler way. Lord Shri Krishna is easily accessible to the one who reads with sincerity, this story of the entry of Shri Vitthalanatha into the cave of Govardhana Hill

Thus ends Chapter Three entitled 'Vitthalanatha Charitam' of Book VII of Shri Vaishnava Samhita composed by Shri Shri Krishna Premi Swamigal.

Shri Sadguru continued

With great sorrow born of the separation from his beloved Lord, Shri Krishna, he was lamenting incessantly. He was going round the places surrounding Govardhana. Maddened with prem bhakti, he ran all over those places from where the tinkling sound of Shri Krishna's anklets was heard. At last, he heard the sweet melody of the flute coming from within a cave inside Govardhana Hill. Spurred by the desire to become one with Shri Krishna he entered the cave.

He went round the forest under the foot of Govardhana, hearing the sweet sound of the tinkling anklets of Shri Krishna.
